The CD-Rom digital version of the traditional story of the three little pigs, called Three Little Cowboy Builders, is aimed at primary school children.

<roflmao>

Surely that is offensive to trades men.

But seriously, this is just another nail in the coffin (is that offensive to undertakers) in rational thinking in the UK. The more this happens, the more frustrated the general populace gets.

"the use of pigs raises cultural issues".

WTF! I hate the pc brigade, we are in england, as far as im concerned fairy tales like this are a part of OUR CULTURE, the only cultural issue i can see is how the natives of this little island are having to supress theirs just incase it offends anyone.

Quite right.

Just imagine if you went to Saudi Arabia or something, then telling everyone you find the Koran offensive...

It starting to appear that it should be in our culture to lay down and get walked all over. What in the hell is going on and when did this country lose its back bone.

Pigs raise cultural issues, why because some religion choose not to eat the meet of a pig. Now correct me is I am wrong but talking about a pig is not the same as eating it or has the wolf suddenly become a Muslim or a Jew?

And another thing!

Its a blackboard not a chalkboard, blackboard could offend, well so might calling it a white board but thats ok

Bar bar blacksheep have you any wool no sir no sir because it may offend you. How is it offensive look out in to a field of sheep and there are black sheep as well as white ones.

Reminds me of a question I had whilst doing Science at secondary school:

"Alfred, Barbara, Charles and Daljit are doing an experiment. Compare the boys' results to the girls' results."

Me: Miss, is Daljit a boy or a girl?
Teacher: I don't know!

Daljit is a girl.

I guess that stands to reason as there are already two male names, and a 3:1 ratio would make crappy stats.....
