you could well be right, but I wouldn't dare to presume what might offend individual homosexuals or lesbians, let alone them as a group... However that is diverging from the point I was making... which was that it is not a case of wether heterosexual love scenes on TV offend but rather if, as some Gay TV seems to offend some heterosexuals, it did offend, then they would have no choice but to watch it or nothing at all...

I see what you are saying. I remember the out cry over the "gay" kiss in Eastenders. Thinking back, I can't see why there was so much fuss. I also, remember there comments about "Queer as folk". To be fair, the sex scenes were very graphic and were far beyond the level expected in heterosexual scenes. They were not particularly offensive to me, but it certainly wasn't something I would choose to watch. |
