we are constantly reminded every day how nasty/pathetic/rude/cruel/stupid/ignorant men are.

..due to someone inventing Mothers-in-law....

<roflmao> <roflmao> <roflmao> <roflmao> <roflmao>

Exactly the reason I don't have one! <thumbsup>

Why are they banned in then US? Or do you let you shoot them if the get annoying? <roflmao>

or Fathers-in-law :)

True, a father-in-law can be a married/engaged man's biggest critic, especially an over protective or patronising one. :s

This is why I live 8000 miles away from my in laws they are a pain in the back side. <dance>

However there is a downside when they come to visit they have to stop with us. Last time it was for 3 months <doh>

Technically speaking, I wouldn't end up with a father-in-law due to the fact that the gf's dad died when she was child. However, her stepdad isn't too bad. It's just shame that she and her mum suffer constant verbal diarrhoea, and get worried if they don't speak to each other for more than about six hours. Not that our last phone bill had 80 hours of calls on it, of course. That's nowithstanding her £180 of free credit from T-mobile that she uses all of every month either!

<doh> <yikes>

My mother in law always seemed to reserve a special kind of hatred for me

The feeling was more than mutual

Gosh, all this "in-law love" is making me feel pretty lucky. I have the most fabulous in-laws you could ever ask for, and Mr Shrek gets on really well with my Dad too...however a couple of my brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws are a different story....but luckily they don't visit too often :D

Dear Jim,

please can you help me? I appear to be rather unstable. I don't mean that my character is all over the place, it's just that if anyone comes within two feet of me, I end up falling over and rolling about in abject agony. I manage to get up almost straight away again and run about like nothing was ever wrong, but it seems to happen every few minutes. People seem to take offence at me doing this, and I fear I might end up getting hurt for real one day. Everyone around me last night managed to avoid anything like this happening to them, and carried on even when my friends were repeatedly kicking lumps out of them!

Is there anything that can be done?

Yours,

Cristiano Ronaldo.

Dear JIM,

Why do we have to spell your name in capitals? Do you enjoy shouting, or are you simply worried that some of us are hard of hearing?

Yours sincerely,
Pedantic, Worcestershire

SORRY i AM not THE greatest AT working COMPUTERS and I must IMPROVE.

SEE when I concentrate I do ALOT better <dunce>

oooh Jim! <hug>

I've been noticing a whole lot of lowercase postings from you at the moment. <clap>

Does that mean you are concentrating extra hard at the moment, or is your CAPSLOCK having to whisper because it is ill with a touch of laryngitis? <coffee>
