I just got a pretty good taste of this series this weekend. Speed TV showed 3 events I'm guessing from last season, and I was duly impressed. Action everywhere! Anyone here follow this. I guessing Mrs. Shrek has had some exposure to this, anyone else? I'm just curious, F1 off season and all. <thumbsup>

You should know that one of them is a Holden fan and one is a Ford fan. I'll leave you to find out who supports which team <peek>

I saw some Aussie V8 highlights while stuck in an airport bar last year. Exciting stuff <thumbsup>

I have to say the Aussie V8 series is very underrated internationally in my opinion. It always produces good close racing and always produces exciting races, especially at the likes of Adelaide and Bathurst

<clap> glad there is another V8 Supercars fan <thumbsup> only a couple of weeks till the new season starts <yahoo>
I've haven't spent so much time on here the last few months and neglected to write up what was an exciting end to the season, the race for the championship was about as close as the F1 one
I hope to post some more info in the next couple of weeks ready for this season, teams, drivers etc.
Feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer, I'm not an expert, just a fan

Yeah I’m looking forward to the new season, there’s been quite a lot of driver changes

It will be interesting to see how Russell Ingall gets on at Paul Morris Motorsports, who I believe have got the Supercheap backing this season

Todd Kelly has gone to Jack Daniels Racing, Garth Tander has been shuffled across to HRT with Paul Dumbrell becoming Rick Kelly’s teammate at HSV, I guess that Dumbrell will be under massive pressure in that team because it’s a big chance for a driver who didn’t exactly set the world alight last season.

I’ll be supporting the Fords of Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup as ever and TKR’s Ford for whoever will be driving that car, Kayne Scott?
