I don't see why they just can't go ballast free and have the Touring Car bureau prevent one manufacturer getting too far ahead. Another heavy year for Priaulx in prospect hopefully. |

They've been doing it the last couple of years, basically they grant weight breaks, extra wing and more power that sort of thing to bring cars up to speed. Once they start winning the breaks are taken away. |

Yeah, more or less. Unrestricted competition is what everyone wants, but unfortunately the other manufacturers aren't quite good enough to beat BMW in a straight fight. If the cars were all roughly the same though but the ballast was removed it would at least remove the daft see-saw that stops the championship contenders battling each other from different ends of the grid. |
