I haven't a clue how we could react to such a threat, but if the west became extremist in its approach, the world really will go mad. answer?History has a habit of repeating itself, ever heard of Carthage or Corinth. Lets hope we don't get western politicians who adopt a Roman view to politics as our fire power could wipe out the world several times over. Imagine if 9/11 were repeated a couple of more times, feeding from that anger extreme politicians start preaching to Nuke a few sympathetic countries at a time to "finally resolve this", America managed to nuke two Japanese cities to end a war? The next step in this barbaric solution is to wipe out an whole country. Do you really think man is incapable of such acts? |

Has it occured to anyone that this could be an over reaction? I mean, how offer did we keep hearing of thwarted terror plots but with very little details available or court cases brought. I truely think that much of this war on terror is a propaganda campaign to keep the public support behind attacking undesirable countries. Look what we did to Iraq. Yes Saddam was a tyrrant and needed dealing with, but we destroyed Iraq in the process of removing him with a war based on lies and now the Iraqi people are immersed in a bloody civil war. |
