Race 1 Report

Race 2

Can we now get a banner for Andy Priaulx. Surely 3 (or 4) times in a row deserves a little recognition?

Poor SEAT though, all the money they've spent on the WRC, WTCC and BTCC and still nothing. <no>

Congrats to Andy Priaulx - three world titles is a great achievement against some great drivers.

And I second the Andy Priaulx banner

Its Andys 4th title on he trot if you count his European Championship as well.

Also hats off to James Thompson finishing 3rd in the championship in a very old Alfa Romeo....

It really looked like Thommo could hold on to 2nd for a long time. He's done wonders with that car.

congrats to Andy Priaulx for the 4th in a row. Thanks to Tarqs for causing a pretty dull race 2 with his last lap incident on Farfus in race 1 though.
but you still have to bring such presents home so Andy Priaulx is a worthy championship winner

cheers

Not presents, Karma. Andy suffers from being in a single car team so doesn't get the slipstreaming benefits that the other multi car teams do in qualifying. This was certainly the case in Macau and Monza. Hence the 11th starting position.

I was very cheesed off at this. Surely he should be grouped with the Schnitzer cars as a works BMW?

I'm saying it was compensation. The cosmic wheel balancing itself out or something. You could argue Priaulx being stranded in 11th was a present for Muller.
