The programme for the World Touring Car Championship finale in Macau has been put back by a day because of a delay in freighting equipment.

The opening half-hour test session had been scheduled to be held at 13:20 (local time) today, but has been put back to 16:15 on Friday as equipment of some teams, including Schnitzer Motorsport and SEAT Sport, were delayed in Singapore.

The flight carrying the parts landed at Macau early this morning and as a knock-on effect, free practice and qualifying will be held on Saturday, which had originally been planned as a day off for the WTCC.

"Obviously everything is postponed by one day," said a WTCC spokesman. "The plan is to move everything back by one day with the first test session tomorrow afternoon."

Saturday November 17

1030-1100 Free practice 2
