Autosport.com - Mercedes and Audi to discuss future Mercedes and Audi have said that they will talk about last weekend's controversy at Barcelona, where Audi withdrew all of their cars from the race. Audi have said that they are committed to the series, but they want things to change in the future to avoid a repeat of the Barcelona race, which they described as 'too rough.' Audi's head of motorsport Wolfgang Ullrich said: "We will sit together, once everyone has calmed down. I'm looking for a good race together at Hockenheim. "We have proved, for example with the previous race at Nurburgring, that DTM can show great, tough sport, at the highest level. "I think we all have to work on it, to have it again. I'm doing all I can do for this to happen." They need to sort this out between them. It would be a disaster for DTM if Audi decided to pull out and left Mercedes as the sole constructor in the series. It would surely be the beginning of the end for DTM |

I think it was in protest to some of the Mercedes drivers 'amateur' driving, which has resulted in La Rosa and Haikkinen receiving a 10-place grid penalty for the final round at Hockenhiem |
