The World Touring Car Championship will expand to 12 rounds in 2008, series officials announced on Monday.

Changes from this year's calendar include new events in Mexico and Japan, while the Portuguese round will switch from Porto to Estoril.

From http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/62520

The calendar is as follows (courtesy of Autosprout, link above):

March 2 Curitiba, Brazil
April 6 Mexico (circuit TBA)
May 18 Valencia, Spain
June 1 Pau, France
June 15 Brno, Czech Republic
July 6 Estoril, Portugal
July 27 Anderstorp, Sweden
August 31 Oschersleben, Germany
September 21 Brands Hatch, UK
October 5 Monza, Italy
October 26 or November 2 Okayama, Japan
November 16 Macau, China

It's a shame they've got rid of Zandvoort, as it did a great job hosting a short-notice race this season, but seeing them at Estoril will be interesting. Apparently Valencia and Brands Hatch are likely to swap dates at some point, as this calendar is only provisional.

Ever heard of Okayama? It used to be called TI Aida, and was possibly one of the dullest F1 circuits of all time....
