I have just noticed on the BBC sports news flasher that BMW have just confirmed that Kubica and Quick Nick will drive for BMW in 2008.

Definitely seems like the logical move for me, they have both done a great job this year and Vettel isn't ready for a big drive like BMW so he will serve his apprenticeship at Torro Rosso.

I wonder what the long wait was for :) Still, ends any rumours that Alonso will turn up there next season. Mclaren or Renault it seems.

Good to see that they have finally confirmed Nick Heidfeld. They should be stronger next year now that they have some continuity

Glad they finally made up their mind. Should make next year very intereting indeed.
Good for Nick too. He deserves this.

Excellent news for both Heidfeld and BMW. If they can continue their brilliant progress into next year, Heidfeld will go far with them. Also Kubica is a very hot prospect, so this gives him the chance to stabilise himself within the team and start thinking about a future championship challenge for himself.

Probably Heidfeld was negotiating a payrise
