This seems logical as they don't stand a chance of catching Mclaren and Ferrari or even BMW when it comes to the points standings.

They understand why it didn't work out for this year which is important and hopefully they can rectify things next season.

Like I said in another thread a few days ago I do think this season is a just a blip and that they will be back to their best next year.

However I really think they need to completely change their driver line-up and maybe at least offer Fernando Alonso a contract and see what happens on the off chance.

I just don't see the current 3 drivers they have at their disposal being able to challenge the likes of Raikkonen, Alonso and Hammy next season but I might be proved wrong, you can't always tell.

Seems like the right decision, they are too far off the pace to get back to the front of the grid in the last 6 races.

I guess it shows the difference between them and Ferrari. Ferrari have the people and the finances to challenge for the title season after season. Renault have managed for just the two seasons. It will be interesting to see if they can return to the front of the grid for 2008.
