While scanning through Autosport.com's photo gallery today, I noticed that Christijan Albers was doing demostration runs for Spyker through Rotterdam alongside the Renault team. Is he still under contract to Spyker or was this a pre-arranged agreement with the city of Rotterdam that both had to keep?

Here's the photo in question:

I read somewhere recently that it was a one-off that had been prearranged before Albers lost his seat.

Cheers Mrs S. <thumbsup>

How awkward must that have been for both parties after the way they parted!

It's mentioned here

Race driver Heikki Kovalainen and tester Nelson Piquet will be in action for Renault, while Spyker’s Adrian Sutil will take to the streets in an F8-VII. Sutil will be joined by former team mate Christijan Albers, who will step back into the Spyker cockpit for a one-off appearance. Dutch national Albers took part in the event in 2006 for the Midland team.
