The MotoGP race was a rerun of Laguna Seca with Hopkins filling in Vermeulens role. It looked like Hopper might make a race of it, but Stoner turned up the wick for win number seven. I think we can, barring accidents and incidents more or less call the title for Stoner. It's not a gap that is going to come down easily, even if Valentino could do much about it, which at the moment he can't. MotoGP is not immune to dull races, which is what we've had recently. I can only hope that Misano is a bit closer with both tyre companies new to the track it might be a bit more even. Really Michelin need to pull their finger out because no Bridgestone runner in the dry can top Stoner. According to Eurosport Edwards has signed for Tech 3. So if Rossi didn't have enough to deal with now he has a team mate he doesn't want for next year. |

yes, admittedly un-eventful race but still better than nothing i guess... will be interesting to see what yamaha, honda and michelin can do to bridge the gap to the 'stones runners..(there is a play on words in there..not sure what it is tho' )..... well ridden casey, an almost "doohan-esque" race weekend for him... i have to say that the title does look to be going to him..... best start shopping for a bigger trophy cabinet, i think he will need one soon....

Stoner is looking invincible at the minute. Even a rider like Rossi is going to find it hard to catch him. And it's good to see Nicky Hayden gaining some form after a bad start to the season |

The races are getting a bit boring, with Stoner disappearing into the distance all the time! There's no way that he will be caught in the standings, he'd have to have some pretty disastrous weekends between now and the end of the season. |

The MotoGP races may be getting boring but the 125 race had me on the edge of my chair this morning. An absolutely brilliant race with lap on lap action. Does anyone have any information on the injured 250cc rider after his horrific accident? |
