Honda Racing's technical director Shuhei Nakamoto is hopeful the team can bounce back in Turkey following a dismal weekend in Hungary two weeks ago.

The Japanese squad had one of their worst races of the season in Budapest, where Jenson Button retired after qualifying at the bottom and Rubens Barrichello was the last classified driver, over two laps down.

Honda have been working hard since then despite not being allowed to test, and Nakamoto is hoping the team will be able to show progress next week in Istanbul.

What can we expect in Turkey from F1's worst manufacturer? We've heard several times already this season that the team is "hoping to improve" by the next race, and so far we've yet to see any major leaps forward from the Japanese squad. Can they at least beat the Spykers this time around? <roflmao>

My own opinion is that we will see no significant improvement in fortunes for Honda, this weekend at least. They have been unable to test this summer, so any new parts are as likely as not to be unsuccessful. My guess is that Honda will have to wait for another race or two before they really start improving, if they do at all by the end of the season.
