Interesting question Rob. Hamilton being world champion ahead of Alonso has to be by far the biggest shocker if it did happen because nobody would have been expecting it before the start of the season. Plus nobody has even been champion in their rookie season so again for that reason nobody would be expecting it Honda mucking things up and Super Aguri beating them is something which would have been more believable at the start of the season but that wouldn't stop it from being a major upset but nowhere near as big as Alonso being upstaged by a rookie team mate. |

I'm actually torn on this as the season isn't over and I'd say Alonso has a better chance of catching Lewis than Honda do of catching SA. But I guess if Honda's wind tunnel was out of wack, then the Lewis beating Alonso is a bigger surprise. |

I've gone for Super Aguri because it was clear last season that Hamilton was something special. I think the factor of Alonso joining the team at the same time has contributed to their respective points, but even so it is a special achievement. But look at where Super Aguri were last season and where Honda is...it's amazing really. |

I'd go for Super Aguri too, I really can't believe how bad that Honda car is. |

I voted for the second option, only because the first isn't really happening. Lewis is beating Alonso on paper, but he's only beaten him on track in a straight fight once (USA), and there have been races where Alonso has driven better than Lewis but scored fewer points due to the circumstances (France, Hungary). |

I would say they are both about the same, i wonder what the odds were on either happening at the start of the season. Someone could be very rich

Definitely Super Aguri. If you look where that Honda was last year and consider the fact that SA are basically using that Honda, for Honda not to be beating them is criminal. Lewis beating Alonso at this stage is something of a surprise, but I think most fans expected Hamilton to be a champion at some point, so it is hardly earth-shattering. |

It has to be Super Aguri. Hamilton came into F1 with great potential and high expectations, and although no-one expected him to lead the championship with 6 races left, he has matched those expectations. As for Aguri, they were the slowest on the grid last year while Honda were fighting at the front for podiums. And while Honda have had a terrible car this season, Aguri have developed the 2006 Honda and adapted it well to the 2007 Bridgestones. Sato has been a revelation and Davidson has proved that he deserves a full-time F1 drive |

Super Aguri's efforts, or perhaps Honda's BALLS UP, is what has surprised me the most. When you look at what a rag tag outfit Super Aguri still is, it is astonishing that they should be able to beat the lavishly funded Honda Works team. It is even more amazing than if Sauber had managed to beat Ferrari in 2004, when they ran the Ferrari 2003 chassis. |
