That would be harsh to leave Heidfeld out in the cold. He deserves at least continuity with BMW, if not a better seat.

Who did that I wonder? It wasn't Kimi that is for sure, he's taken his hidden talent to work at Ferrari, although he seems to have endured a little better reliability recently.

Huh? I think I missed something there. I was just referring to RJHSaints saying Nick "deserves at least continuity with BMW, if not a better seat" and that a swap with Alonso would be a better seat for nick.

Heidfelds manager says that the team for 08 would consist of Alonso and Heidfeld. Even although Kubica has a contract <yikes>

<thumbsup> That was what I was trying to imply......

Heidfeld v Hamilton would be interesting. It may well happen, if Alonso wins the title.

I think it was just a suggestion.

The headline Heidfeld camp: Alonso should join BMW

I think Heidfeld is really good, but I don't think he could beat Alonso, and since Lewis is beating Alonso.....

Well, Hamilton has always said the man he fears is Kubica, and Heidfeld is faring reasonably against him.

The fact is we don't know how Heidfeld would get on against Alonso or Hamilton, but I doubt he would go down without a fight.
