Alonso used both hard tyres for the final two quali laps so does this point to him wanting to keep two sets of softs for the race? Lewis used a set and then wrecked a set tryng to get around for his final lap. Anything in this?? |

Alonso also used a set of softs when he initially went out in the third phase which I found weird. For his sake I hope he's not keeping two sets of softs for the race. So far this weekend there has been heavy wear on the softs on longer runs. Unless this is pointing a bit towards his strategy where he will do two short stints on the soft tyres and a long run on the harder tyres, possibly on his first stint |
