Davidson goes second. He made his F1 debut at this circuit in 2002 for Minardi

Now he's down to fourth as Trulli goes fastest and Schumacher second

Massa only 11th after his first run. Unlike Raikkonen he has to put another flying lap in again

Trulli's lap looks very impressive now. He is still ahead of Raikkonen and only behind the McLaren's

Massa having problems in the pit lane. Looks like he won't make the final cut

They've fixed it and he's out again. Looks like it stalled exiting the pits.

Damon just beat me to it on ITV - Red Bull are looking good at the minute

Heidfeld down in tenth and Kubica 12th at the minute - not looking that impressive for BMW

Massa hasn't made the cut yet. Looks like he is out of it as he backed off after that lap

Big problems with that Ferrari. Their reliability this year has been poor.

The only positive that Massa can draw from his poor qualifying performance is that he can now choose the optimun fuel strategy for the race tomorrow. Although tyre wear could limit what he can do

Very interesting that Alonso had used the soft tyres for the first part of the fuel-burning phase. With all the teams experiencing heavy wear on the soft tyre I would have thought he would have run on the hard tyres and kept the soft tyres for his flying runs

Alonso has a long stop. I think waiting for a clear track position before going out. And his tyre warmer snags in the wheel and delays him <doh>

Toyota are looking strong. Although they are only top because they were the first cars to set a competitive time, they were fast in the two previous sessions on quali

It looks like a Macca battle for pole, and the BMW's and Toyota's could ruin Raikkonen's session

Was that tactical from Fernando? He sat in the pits meaning that Lewis couldn't pit behind him
