Michael Schumacher will not attend any more Grands Prix this year, his spokeswoman said.

"For this year, Michael has no intention to go again to the tracks," Schumacher's long-time press officer Sabine Kehm said.

"He still has some official commitments, but his priority will be to spend his time with his family."

The German was seen in almost all Grands Prix since Formula One returned to Europe in May, but the seven-time world champion looked visibly bored through the weekends.

Schumacher has also admitted last week that he has yet to find an activity that will challenge him.

"I really cannot say that have I found fresh challenges that would excite me so far," he said in an interview published in this week's journal of autosport.com.

"At Ferrari, there are constantly new opportunities coming up. But I could not pinpoint what exactly would be right for me."
