In case anyone had forgotten, there is a GP this weekend! What is everyone predicting for the outcome of what is, to be fair, usually the dullest race of the year? My own guess is that McLaren may have a slight advantage this weekend, so I predict Alonso to win with either Massa or Raikkonen second, and Hamilton third. The midfield will be tough to call, as usual, but expect BMW to be slightly ahead of the rest with Williams, Renault, Red Bull and Toyota fighting for the final points positions. Finally, how will Vettel perform in his first race for STR? I predict he will make no measurable impact, as the team as a whole seems fixated on being perennial backmarkers for the time being. |

I expect McLaren to be the quicker car this weekend. They looked good at Monaco and will use a similar set-up. Ferrari should be closer than they were at Monaco though. BMW should be strong as well and expect Red Bull to do well here, although they definitely won't match their result from the Nurburgring |

If it stays dry I predict Massa to win. If it rains Alonso to win. Vettel will not shine as IMO he is no better than the man who he replaced. However, Hungary is one of the few tracks where a driver can make a difference, so if he is really special, we will see. |

I don't think you can equate Monaco to know, mostly because Ferrari has their wind tunnel working now. Ferrari have been looking pretty good on speed, but they need to build a car that will let the Finnish finish a race. In the dry, most likely a Ferrari win, in the wet, well I don't want to say it, but probably Alonso, although I wouldn't mind seeing Nick pop one. Vettel will suck in the STR, mostly because the car sucks. |
