With this years championships seeming more and more likely to be sorted in the law courts than on the track, I draw your attention to Monza last year
Alonso: " F1 is not a sport anymore"
Prophetic or coincidence?

The most truthfull thing anyone has ever said about modern F1. Politics, politics, politics! And guess which team seems to be most often involved in the politics!

Actually, I guess you are right, considering the Paul Stoddard days.

At least this year's politics appear to be based upon a set of circumstances that need to be resolved (i.e. the espionage/sabotage case), even if they have been blown out of proportion by those concerned. Last year's politics were transparently an effort to disrupt the season to favour one particular team and driver. The difference is that last year was cynically motivated; this one is benignly motivated, even if the consequences could turn out to be devastating.

Wasn't it good to see thou, that after that particular mess, that clear guidelines emerged from the FIA and now every knows the correct distances for cars and the hindrance of others and it is no longer a grey area of the technical regs, with penalties and procedures adhered in a non-biased and uniform way. <clap> <clap>

<think> <roflmao>
