Dennis defends his team's behaviour in saying McLaren's only knowledge of information leaked by ex-Ferrari engineer Nigel Stepney was regarding the floor device on the Ferrari car at the Australian Grand Prix.

Seems to contradict the Mclaren line that Coughlan acted alone and did not discuss anything with anyone?

<wtf> is Ron thinking? Lets see you are going to admit to having insider information to "whistle blow" and in the same breath expect everyone to take your word that is all you used Ferrari's information for, after you repeatedly denied any knowledge? Has Ron lost it?

If anyone wants to seriously discuss the merits of Ron's arguments and escape the bulls**t of the Ferrari/McLaren fans who cannot see this sans prejudice, Click Here.

I don't think so. Is being tipped off by another person from another team also classed as espionage?

Just reading about it on the BBC Sport site, and it seems like Stepney is not as bad as Ferrari make him out to be. The reason he blew the whistle on Ferrari is because he felt two of their car parts were illegal - meaning he wanted a fair race. If it's true then at least Stepney had the sport's interests at heart - he just went to the wrong people about it

Positive spin there ;) if he thought that, why did he allow it to be put on the car?

Monty's working with the BBC now? ;)
I suppose it had nothing to do with Nigel being disgruntled & wanting to shaft them at all then <whistle>
How long you reckon before theres a campaign to give Stepney a knighthood <think>

He probably didn't allow it - he was marginalised and sidelined and that's why he was disgruntled and wanted to leave.

I don't think anyone has any room to comment on this matter until they have read Ron's letter in it's entirity. And to be fair, he hasn't used too much ron-speak in it either.
