Will we ever have a controversial-free season?

With nearly all of the recent seasons having some sort of controversy, will we ever get a straight forward season whereby all the talk is about the racing and none of it is about the politics?

In 2002 we had the Ferrari situation at Austria, 2003 was the Michelin wide tyre, 2005 was Indygate, 2006's scandal was the mass dampers, and this year is Stepneygate. Only 2004 has had a relatively clean season in recent years
