Located near San Fancisco, San Jose features a 1.5 mile street circuit that is narrow and makes passing difficult. The standing start that is new to Champcar this year provides an opportunity to advance one's start position, but with that also comes the the chance to go backwards. Stalls are also a concern with the standing starts. Chanpcar Standings After Edmonton 1 Sebastien Bourdais 194 2 Robert Doornbos ® 174 3 Will Power 169 4 Justin Wilson 165 5 Simon Pagenaud ® 143 6 Alex Tagliani 134 7 Neel Jani ® 129 8 Graham Rahal ® 126 The race will start at 6:00 PM US Eastern time, or 11:00 PM in the UK. |
