When it became clear that the Michelin shod Repsol Hondas were carving their way up through the Bridgestone shod Suzukis it was pretty certain Valentino would be following. Stoner put up some pretty heroic resistance but the result was never in doubt as soon as Vale got past he was gone. |

It was an superb performance from Rossi We tend not to appreciate it quite as much since we expect it from him. But considering the time he made up in such few laps, it was outstanding.

It's true that we get used to miracles from Rossi. I wish Bridgestone had been a little more on it though, but you can't win them all. |
