A wet MotoGP session and all the 125 and 250 times were set in yesterdays' dry sessions.

Just when Valentino thinks things couldn't get much worse Michelins wet weather blind spot has left him down in 11th. But watch him slice through to the front tomorrow. The only question being by the time he does will Stoner be long gone?

I would think it is tomorrow so it doesn't clash with F1 or that the moto GP organisers just want to vary it a bit and I like that, I don't see why all races should start at one or two on a Sunday afternoon. Variation is good.

On the subject of tomorrow's race it should be quite interesting seeing Rossi slice his way through the grid, Michelin have let him down in the wet again I see.

Have to say though that I think Stoner is looking good for the title at the moment, things are going his way and when Rossi races him he Stoner him properly and isn't afraid like most of Rossi's past opponents have been like Gibernau for example(otherwise known on Five Live as Give-up-now)

What time is the race on exactly?

There's a long standing agreement between the FIA and FIM that MotoGP and F1 don't clash. But Assen has always run on a Saturday, but that is useful in allowing F1 and MotoGP to run in Europe on the same weekend.

Race starts at 1.00pm if you're only bothered about MotoGP or 10.00am if you want the 125s and 250's. Same as usual, just on a Saturday.

Just like F1 in 2006 the Championship is going down to what tyres are best. <grrr>

I just hope Moto Gp make it a single tyre company for 2008.

I hate the fact that tyres are making the difference and you have talented riders not doing well cause of he Rain.

Bridgestone are far better in the rain.

Please give us the riders performance rather than the tyres performance to win a race <no>

I totally agree with those points ElusiveJim

And people wonder why I was so desperate for no tyre war in F1, I think it should be the same with moto GP too.

Yes i totally agree.

Why have the teams on different tyres why we see races and Championships being won on how good the tyres are :(

Yes i am a Rossi fan but it is the same if Stoner was struggling with his tyres as it is just NOT a fair playing field to race.

I was SO looking forward to see the two havea close battle as Stoner has been amazing this year but to see a rider like Rossi and the rest struggle cause of tyres is a joke.

Tyres wars only help the tyre companies make more money instead of giving us close battles

Why do people think that one make tyres are the cure for everything? Everyone being on Dunlops hasn't stopped Jorge Lorenzo winning 5 out of 8 races in 250's this year. Control tyres in WSB have in some ways led to closer racing, but apart from 2004 it became pretty clear early on who was going to win the title, OK this year is closer, but still..

I should also point out that tyre companies supply most of the teams in MotoGP for free. It's only in control tyre contracts that they can charge everyone.

Thank GOD it was dry as we saw a fantastic race all up and down the field.

Rossi was mazing but Stoner did not really need to go for the Win but even tho Rossi was amazing <thumbsup>

Still feel the whoe grid being on the same tyres is alot better than it making a difference on race day.
