also, when a caravan crashes, you don't just get parts of the caravan all over the road

you get garden chairs, plates, cutlery and clothes

Seen a couple of prangs over the last few weeks,by the Severn Bridge crossing
The first had hit the central reservation and 'jackknifed'
The second,going down an incline,looked like it had survived intact,while the 4x4 towing it had rolled a few times,depositing it's contents across the carriageway <think>

It was a very old, scruffy thing but it served it's purpose and saved us a huge amount of money.

Bit like mine then,not likely to get nicked either :D

Not a caravan story, but a story nonetheless. My father in law retired and bought a motorhome. He also bought a new Saturn auto that had a smart transmission that allowed it to be towed with all four wheels on the ground.

He set off to Alaska from Seattle with the car behind and traveled about 2000 miles on unpaved roads. The car looked like it had been pulverized by an avalanche when he arrived due to the rocks thrown up by the motorhome.

Not to mention the fences and post boxes he destroyed along the way. He'd never driven a large truck before.

Yeah, but you get a good laugh (assuming it's nothing too serious of course)... when was the last time your hotel crashed on the M62?

<roflmao>

I don't know about hotels in the middle of the M62 but there is a house.
