That is a shame. I think Halliday has some potential but Heylen just makes up numbers.

Champ Car does nees to try and improve the quality of driver on the grid and this isn't helping.

The only reason for this move is money - which is the usual reason in changes in small teams, no matter what the series.
For racing purposes, it's not a good move - Halliday is a better driver and this is showing that CC's problems are growing; the need for 'Belgium' driver only emphasizes this.

Although I dislike Tony George immensely, the need to merge the two series again and split races 50/50 between road and oval racing is needed immediately.

Though a lot of people praise Bordais for the way he has dominated CC, a lot of people don’t realize that the Newman/Haas has a budget similar to all the other teams put together. Having the largest fast food chain in the world as your sponsor helps you to afford such nice things as wind tunnels etc….where the other teams can only afford illegal immigrants with gas!

Most of the teams are running on week to week budgets, and need money brought in by the drivers.

Bordais...pah!

of the champ car teams it looks like this

PKV - KK's team, does what he wants with it

Dale Coyne - Has funding from KK to run Legge

Forsythe - Currently at war with KK and nearly refused to run a 2nd car this season

RSports - Probably mostly funded by themselves and sponsors

Team Australia - As above

Conquest - Was almost certainly bailed out by KK and no doubt he continues to support that team in some way

PCM - It all seems very fishy, i wouldn't be suprised if KK had some influence at this team aswell
