A Sony DSC-something or other 3.2 megapixel still camera and a Sony HandiCam. I plugged the camcorder into my laptop via the 1394 socket using a special cable which vastly improves picture quality over USB. Now, if only I could improve my video technique..... |

Cheers LT,I'm interested in up-grading to a mini dv at some stage. The old Canon 8mm is a bit of a dinosaur now (plus battery life is about 5 mins )Also want a digital SLR when the funds allow it Those A1 cars do sound nice btw |

They're bloody loud. We're sitting in the grandstand thinking "why are so many people wearing ear protectors? Bloody wusses". Then we found out why!!! |

Not done F1 yet. One thing I found quite interesting was you had the A1 race, then the support race that followed - the cars were so slow in comparison!!!! |

When I first heard the A1 cars early on Sat they hurt my ears for a split second...loudest I've heard for a while (bar some at Le Mans but not as close). How was it on the bank Tau? I admit to not having watched it from the bank but must've been a great atmosphere! |

It was really good. I didn't expect the cars to be so loud! Atmosphere was good. When GBR got ahead of GER briefly in the Feature Race, we all saw it on the big screen and there was lots of cheering. So, whereabouts were you? You never know - we could have walked past each other and not realised!! |

The Saturday I watched from the bank and went out on GP Loop etc, most of Sunday I watched from the press room....watching the last few laps of the second A1 race with Palmer and Texeira wasn't bad To be honest it was so busy and in the press room you get a view of the Indy circuit all around, two different TV feeds in there, you can see the big screen on the South Bank and you get all the timing screens so it has it's benefits! We could easily have walked past each other! I was with a couple of guys too, though, not just me! |

How come you got to go in the press room then? Lucky so-and-so!! During the lunch interval, we walked from the Hailwoods grandstand all the way to the Motorsport Vision building and then back again. |
