All of the facts and studies say that we are the best! :D :D
And we get cheaper insurance because of it! :D
But still lots of men don't believe it <no>
Why is this? <blink>
Speak up boys! :D

Safer, probably. Better, I doubt it.

We must be better! :D
Or else insurance companies would prefer to insure men <blink>
But they don't! They prefer women! :D

A flaw in your logic. Insurance companies like safe. Men show-off when the ladies are around and often end up in the weeds. <cool>

How many F1,IRL,CC,WRC,ALMS,A1GP,NASCAR champions have been women?

It’s a estrogen/testosterone thing – Women are less aggressive and drive slowly – therefore safer. But safer does not equate to better.
Women do some things better than men and men do some things better than women driving being one of the things men do better.

But you have to look at driving at it’s top level to understand it at grass roots.

True, but that's what goes on. My Lady is a good, safe, dependable driver. But, if you needed to get somewhere lickety-split, you should ride with me. <cool>

Or me! I drive pretty fast! (but safe, safe of course!) :D :D
I do understand what The Saint is saying. <cool>
But I think on the whole women have a lesser need for danger! :D
Men seem to like danger! <blink>
Women focus on the important things! (keeping the car on the road) <cool>

Saint. you really didn't choose a good example there...

one of the first meetings I went to featured Mod Prods - a great set of racing, now defunct.

ok, so car 15 is a Peugeot 206 GTi - Driver; Isla Cox.
Car 16, is an identical (down to colour, bar the bumpers) 206 GTi - Driver; Isla's Husband, Brian.

She was Lapping him in practice, left him well behind in the race. so the next day they swapped cars.

Guess what, she did it again(!)

This conclusivley proves... something.

I however don't know why women get better insurance. it's a bit annoying really because you could in theory get women who don't drive as well as most men and yet pay more than a really good male driver. and vice versa... oh wait...

*The STIG , now confused, goes away.

Those cars had a bit of a reputation for breaking down. only ever seen them at Pembrey once. Nice looking though.
