if i pushed the budget to 3k, how dumb an idea would it be to buy a sensible miles impreza turbo, if i can find a straight one with a service history ? or a 944 ? or bmw 325 ? am i just asking for huge bills ?? |

good thinking.... nice choice, hadn't crossed my mind, definitely would take one over a (non-gti) piece of european junk ! http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/CARS_...200711275665502 i want to avoid anything too 'fast and furious', but this one would fit the bill despite the to mars and back mileage ! a honda ? for sure. thanks now i can thank this board for supplimenting not only my memory but my imagination too ! |

No problem my friend! Those VTEC engines are awesome fun and never break down. With regular oil checks and servicing you could run a CRX for years! |

My wife had a CRX in the 1980's. I crashed it and turned over and the engine ran for a little while even though it was upside down. |
