Race 1 review (by stradlin22) The race will begin under a rolling start, the first in WTCC history. The aim is too make it fairer because the rear wheel drive BMW's have an advantage at the start Race is green Lap 1 - Chaos at the first corner, two seperate crashes take out Nicola Larini, Alain Menu, Luca Rangoni, James Thompson and a few others. Priaulx takes 2nd place and the safety car is out Jorg Muller leads Lap 6 - Safety car is back in and Jorg Muller has a big lead after getting the jump, Farfus is all over the back of Priaulx who's car seems a bit loose in the quicker corners Lap 7 - J Muller now leads by over a second. Farfus still pressuring Priaulx with Tarquni, Huff, Coronel behind him Lap 8 - Coronel gets on the grass in his attempts to get past Huff, but he maintains his position. Sergio Hernandez spins his BMW and loses alot of places, Emmet O'Brien one of the drivers to profit from this Lap 9 - J Muller still leads Lap 10 - Farfus all over the back of Priaulx but Andy is keeping cool, Coronel on the dust again, he just can't get past the Chevrolet. Stefano Daste fights with the back of Jourdain Jr's car, damage is done but both continue Lap 11 - Top 8 - J Muller, Priaulx, Farfus, Tarquni, Huff, Coronel, Zanardi, Poteiro Lap 12 - Felix Porteiro spins out of 8th and pole for the next race, Yvan Muller now takes that spot, teammate Jordi Gene all over him in 9th Lap 13 - Lock ups everywhere, Priaulx and Jorg Muller both lock up and Farfus closes up to them, Coronel locks up and runs wide but keeps Zanardi behind him. Lap 14 - Porteiro's car not moved at yellows at that corner, Emmet O'Brien who was 10th and running well goes off the track possibly with contact with another car and drops to 14th Lap 15 - Jordi Gene attacking teammate Yvan Muller for 8th. 8th will get you pole in the 2nd race btw. Lap 16 - J Muller struggling and Priaulx all over him! Come on Andy!! Priaulx attacks again but Jorg is driving well and keeping him behind! Final corner and Jorg stays in front and takes the win!!!! 1st - J Muller 2nd - Priaulx 3rd - Farfus 4th - Tarquni 5th - Huff 6th - Coronel 7th - Zanardi 8th and pole for 2nd race, Y Muller 9th - Gene 10th - Corthals 13th - O'Brien good first race in the WTCC |

Race 2 review (by stradlin22) The second race of the day will be a standing start Will that mean we won't see the chaos of the first race? The top 8 from the 1st race are in reverse from the first race, so the grid is like this Pole - Y Muller 2nd - Zanardi 3rd - Coronel 4th - Huff 5th - Tarquini 6th - Farfus 7th - Priaulx 8th - J Muller Lap 1 - The race is go and Y Muller leads AND OFF goes Rob Huff and Zanardi as they battle for 2nd! Zanardi recovers to 5th but Huff is out! Top 6 - Y Muller, Farfus, Tarquni, Coronel, Zanardi, Priaulx What a start by Farfus!!!! Lap 2 - Priaulx gets past Zanardi and bang! Emmet O'Brien is taken off by Sergio Hernandez Lap 3 - LEAD CHANGE! Farfus from 6th on the grid goes past Y Muller! Lap 4 - Farfus leads, from Muller, Tarquni, Priaulx, J Muller, Zanardi Coronel is holding up a BMW train and they can't get past him! Lap 5 - Priaulx goes past Coronel!! great move!! And through goes J Muller and Zanardi aswell! great racing! Coronel down to 7th. Lap 6 - The BMW's now set off to catch the SEAT's of Y Muller and Tarquini OFF!!! Thompson goes over the gravel after contact with Larini, damage to the front of Thompson's Alfa! Luca Rangoni is on the move Lap 7 - Farfus has a nice lead and the BMW's start to reel in the SEAT's Priaulx and J Muller are fighting hard over 4th Lap 8 - Priaulx now has the SEAT's in sight and its crazy behind them! Thompson and the privateers and battling for position! 3 Wide into the first corner! Alfa Romeo are struggling here today Lap 9 - Priaulx up to the back of the SEAT's!!! PRIAULX TAKES THE PLACE of Tarquni!!! goes to 3rd! Great racing, great pass!!! J Muller battling with Tarquni Lap 10 - Farfus is driving away for everyone and here comes Priaulx again!! AND HE GETS HIM!!!! Andy goes to 2nd!! another top move!! Can he catch Farfus? J Muller goes past Tarquni for 4th! OFF! Jordi Gene takes off Sergio Hernandez! he rejoins but has lost position, Gene's fault Lap 11 - PASS!! J Muller takes 3rd off Y Muller and its BMW domination again Lap 12 - Its BMW 1-2-3 and no-one can touch them, Farfus is miles in front. I said about Rangoni earlier, he nows runs 7th, ahead of Coronel and Zanardi Corthals runs 9th. Lap 13 - Thompson in 11th battles with Gene in 12th, both these drivers will be very dissapointed with their races today. Priaulx and J Muller are battling for 2nd and Jorg is all over him! Lap 14 - A win for Farfus! And a BMW 1-2-3! Priaulx holds off Jorg Muller for 2nd! GREAT RACE!!!!! Farfus Priaulx J Muller Y Muller Tarquni Zanardi Rangoni Coronel |

I been a fan of Andy now for many years now... Augusto Farfus will be dangerous to his challenge for a 3rd consecutive title... I am backing Andy to do it but as Augusto is a BMW river now, I would only be mildly upset if he beats Andy... |
