Disagree on the DC one. Where else would he have gone? It is through Hakkinen's superior talent that DC won nothing at Mclaren.

He had the option to join Ferrari in 1999

Hmm... join Ferrari with Schumacher already there, basically to be Schumi's bitch.

I think he made the right choice. When Kimi arrived it was certainly felt before the season that Coulthard had the chance to be numero uno - at least at McLaren. That's the season he threw it all away.

Yes but i feel DC would have put up a better fight than Irvine and RB. In the end staying with mclaren was a marginally better move because he hammered Hakkinen in 2001. :D

He may have been able to put up a fight against MS, but he probably wouldn't have been allowed to.

Senna to Williams, for obvious reasons

Elio De Angelis to Brabham

Mansell’s arse to McLaren

I'd say Rubens leaving Ferrari was pretty bad. Sure he was getting smacked by Shumi every year, but at lest he could always blame "team orders" and could at least claim to be the second best driver in F1.

But when he went to Honda he discovered there were others willing to dominate him, and he didn't have team orders as an out, he just got spanked. his replacement won 2 races last, including a win where Rubens never could, and Rubens failed to even get a podium in 06...

Nah even DC in his prime couldnt have beaten Shumi but he definetely could have made some sort of challenge. Team orders arent used much at ferrari i think thats just an excuse for the losing driver.

True but neither would anyone else have beaten Hakkinen accept Shumi. Mind you take a look at the 2001 points table :D

Considering how bad he beat every teammate he had, DC would have to work hard to do worse.

OMG you are comparing Coulthard to MS <shutup>

Your having a laugh, Coulthard had the best car on the grid and still finished third behind his team mate and MS roflmao
