Arguably Red Bull's highest ranking motor racing chief, the low profile Dany Bahar, has reportedly left the Austrian energy drink stable.

It is suggested that Bahar, officially Red Bull's head of corporate projects, is about to join Ferrari in a top management role, despite his close personal links with Red Bull supremo Dietrich Mateschitz and his listing as a 'team owner' on the NASCAR website.

If confirmed, the news will follow the recent revelation that head of development Anton Stipinovich also departed Red Bull.

Stipinovich worked for Ferrari until early 2005.
