How about the old stowe at silverstone or the old lesmo 2 at monza, they were great bends as well.

What has overtaking possibilities got to do with a good corner? Massa passed Montoya going into Eau Rouge in 2004, as did Raikkonen with Alonso. Try and go side-by-side in that corner and you will have a huge accident.

you mean like bellof and Ickx in the 1985 Spa 1000km.

Bellof was killed, for those of you not old enough to remember.

Both cars catching fire and halting the race. Bellof was pronounced dead one hour later at the circuit medical center.

The crash, came soon after the tragic death of fellow German Manfred Winkelhock in another Porsche 956, and prompted the Porsche engineering to rush through the development of the better-protected 962 model.

the video of the crash is harrowing, especially the aftermath when Ickx runs over to stefan's car.

It is true to a certain extent... that when we see footage like that we get an understanding of what drivers risked for our entertainment... in modern times the sport gets safer and we loose some of the respect for what they do...

Close between eau rouge an the spoon curve, i would go for spoon. A two part corner that tightens on the exit and is very easy to get wrong.
