Which corner do you feel is the greatest corner ever used in F1? Which has been the biggest challenge for an F1 driver and makes the cars look spectacular?

I picked eau rouge and 130r, both legendary corners in the modern era of racing.

I can see Eau Rouge being the sentimental favourite. Its certainly spectacular, but Turn 8 is turning out to be the most challenging one lately.

i went for eau rouge, peraltada and paddock hill, the last for blatantly patriotic, emotive and nostalgic reasons !

i'd like to add one though from the greatest track in the world, pflanzgarten at the nürburgring...

Eau Rouge by far. The challenge, dimished in the past few years by increase in Aero still gives my shivers when on-board.

How can you include Tamburello? it was a flat-out kink even in the early 90s!

Eau Rouge hands down!

Just look at it!
The corner is just a legend and seperates the real racers from those who are just pretending.

eau rouge, the only corner with 3 apexes, a blind exit, and 2 gradient changes ! get it right and you hit a kerb 5 times...

Watching the cars going flat around Copse was something I loved to witness first had. Eau rouge was good when the cars had the titanium skid plates....but being there first had, I have to say copse looked better.

you guys probably all know this, but this section of the track, leading down from la source all the way down kemmel is belgium roadway... except that eau rouge "straight lines" a hairpin bend that the normal road takes off to the left, marked on rob's photo, because the incline is too damn steep for road cars !

and the f1 boys take it flat at over 170mph !!

Eau Rouge is obviously a superb corner, but my personal favourite is another one from Spa (and no, not the Bus Stop).

Pouhon is the double-apex left-hander (turns 10 and 11) that is taken at 290 km/h. Seeing it taken onboard is, in my view, even more exhilarating than Turn 8 at Istanbul (possibly because the surrounding scenery at Spa is more attractive than several square miles of Turkish asphalt).

Yup, and then there's Blanchimont (another belgian road) flat at 190mph, no wonder it's still considered the best current gp circuit in the world !

When you think about it, the only thing bad you can say about Spa is the Bus Stop.

My heart says Eau Rouge, but I've never seen any overtaking there. 130R is challenging and I have seen a Spaniard passing a German a couple of times while both were probably flat. 2005, I think, but I could be wrong.

Let me know.

eau rouge sets people up for overtaking at the end of the following kemmel straight... :D
