Kimi fits better. What does that mean? Is this a put-down on Alsonso or a put-up for Kimi? Besides, that is what I would say if I were Todt. Please, Ferrari fan, I'm just asking questions and I don't know the answers. What rational analysis was employed? Or, was it a case of signing the one willing as opposed to signing the driver who was unsure? Opinion - They think Kimi is as quick as FA . A reliable Ferrari, they think, is the only difference between FA and KR. Schu was dans le passé for Ferrari as they look to the future. |

Maybe because Kimi's manager isn't the Renault team boss? |

The story also says that they had considered Alonso as a tester years ago and that fell through. It might be a factor why Totd did not consider him later. That in addition to the prospect of dealing with Flavio

I don't believe that for one minute. Well, I guess it's true. Only Mclaren knew that Alonso's contract was ending last year. Alonso would have been the ideal replacement for Schu but Ferrari weren't to know. Come on, what are they going to say? 'Oh, we wanted Alonso but Kimi will have to do'? It's all mind games. |

Ferrari aren't going to say we wish we got Alonso instead. Its ferrari messing with mclaren by saying there driver is better than yours. Ferrari dont change, i respect kimi a lot but i cant support him now he's wearing red overalls, but if mclaren dont win the wdc i would not be disapointed if kimi became wdc. |

I am not saying that the story is not true..... but a part of me can't help but think they would say that now... as mclaren2win says to say anything other would not be good for team and driver moral |
