I cannot speculate at the moment, I'm still living in hope.

The Ham looks pretty impressive, and I'm glad to see Renault finally getting their act together. Sort of.

Ok enough testing have a race and give us real entertainment, I have practice games before a match why don't they have a practice GP which involves no prize or points at all? <fight>

yeah we will feel good for a weekend then be on cold turkey once more!

I have no idea why such a long gap....maybe they were planning on slipping one in the middle and it did not come off!

Yeah, I wish I had bribed Alabama state officials more than just a 12 pack of Budweiser to get F1 here <no>

Might be a reason Massa is faster than Kimi

Quote:

Massa’s team mate Kimi Raikkonen made it two Ferraris in the top three, after he scored the third fastest time of the day. While Raikkonen completed 94 laps in the unmodified version of the F2007, it was left to Massa to take charge of the team’s new aerodynamic package. The Brazilian covered 100 laps in total. Both will continue testing duties on Thursday.

It was reported Kimi is not totally in love with the car, perhaps they are letting Massa run the newer bits, while Kimi just works on getting faster?

Hey up Rob, nice to see a fellow Ferrari fan on here from the BBC days.
IMO i think they are letting Massa steal all the publicity in testing to take the heat off Kimi.
As soon as its race day, the real Kimi will step forward <dance>

I think there was initially some talk of putting Imola into the four-week gap, but it never materialised. In my opinion they should have shuffled the calendar around to close the gaps .... four weeks is irritatingly long, and frankly unnecessary.

they used to, in the good old days. Slightly shorter than the normal length tho. I think I saw a replay of one at Silverstone in the 1970's and it was the warm-up to the European season.
