- The penultimate turn at Barcelona has been changed from a fast left hander into a slower left-right-left section

- The pit straight at Spa-Francorchamps has been modified with a longer run towards La Source and a re-profiled La Source corner

- The pit straight at Magny-Cours has been narrowed with the grassing of the area outside the white lines

Does anyone else know if any other track modifications to any other circuits for this season?

PS I can't resist this one - Suzuka has been completely remodelled and has been moved a few hundred kilometeres towards the foot of Mount Fuji!

Yeah...all crash barriers have been replaced by sponge. Or is that too cynical of me?

That's siding too much on common sense for the FIA. We all know that if they started thinking sensibly then F1 would surely die off. That's like saying to them 'change the aerodynamics so produce overtaking and exciting racing', or 'let's have a grand prix based on the country's racing tradition and quality of racing track and not on the amount of money they are offering'

roflmao

Well, the money saved on repairs could let Bernie jack up the cost of F1 entry....thus making him even richer. You can never be too cynical!!!

Now that's just silly.

All crash barriers have actually been replaced with fifteen square miles of concrete runoff. Even Monaco.
