Adelaide was much better in my opinion, maybe Melbourne has too much interest in all the other exciting things going on there.....like the filming of neighbors! |

I think Melbourne is a great place for F1. They'd better not stop having the race there because I want to go sometime! |

Adelaide is much nicer, I was thinking of moving there at one time of my life. But Aussies kind of remind me of Geordies, so I moved to America. |

Actually I do like the Melbourne circuit; it has a nice "flowing" quality to it, which many modern circuits do not (thank you very much, Mr. Tilke). But it'd still be cool to see F1 at Adelaide again. |

Is that likely to ever happen? |

I don't know the circumstances in which Adelaide lost the Grand Prix, so I can't say. |

Adelaide is getting a new track for the V8's. There will be no F1 layout. |

i was lucky enough to go to the melbourne gp in 2000 and loved the atmosphere, it all felt very informal and had a real friendly buzz to it. that and the seats were much closer to the track than at, say, silverstone, which made it a real spectacle. the v8's were a huge attraction, maybe the only other real attraction to the event, and put everything but the f1 in the shade. their loss will almost certainly be felt. are we saying that f1 could lose an australian track in 2008 ?? |
