thats strange, I wonder why they have done it and what they are trying to acheive as I loved that long straight. I really wish that these panic adjustments everywhere stop. |

that's an old map. Those flatout kinks were removed 10 years ago. Where did you get that?Both those images look wrong. Spain has a far longer back straight than that. |

hmmmmmm they came from ITV as I was looking through the Sutton photos. The Title for them was 2007 Spainish Plan and 2007 Montreal Plan |

They are from around 1994 I think. Both have proper back straights but to be honest even when Montreal had the kinks in the back straight it still gave a good chance for overtaking into the final chicane. Mansell showed in 1992 how not to do it but other drivers were more successful at it |

And before the 1994 changes to Spain, the middle section of the lap was slightly different. Paul, remember that that was when overtaking was hard rather than bloody difficult
