This makes no sense, MS was past Fisi so if they did it was totally Giancarlos fault running into his back left tyre. The corner was Shumis simple as that

Fisi fought for the corner, and Schu cut in too soon. I would call that an error mate....

Either way it's impossible to say that he DIDN'T make enough contact with Fizi to cause the damage (or that he did), however considering he locked up, the car went momentarily sideways immediately after the manouver and that within seconds was heading back to the pits with a puncture, the only car that collected one on or near that corner, is a mighty coincidence.

Impossible to see anything either way clear cut in YOUTUBE.

I would have been so angry had Schu been WDC in 2006. The real winner would have been the FIA and the real losers would have been the fans.

So his mistake with Fisi made me a happy bunny, of course it would have made no difference had he won......Alonso did enough to keep his crown. One has to wonder though, had Schu been challenging for the win how Ferrari would have handled Alonso.

I am thinking a sniper in the grandstand to take Fernando out.

Two snipers so that we'd be chewing over the conspiracy theory for decades to come, one in the grassy run off probably.

And in anger Rubi would kill the patsy just to stir it up.

Your spatial, metalurgical, and symmetrical observations are spot on. You have explained a cosmic mystery, long live DC.

I see DC went for a low fuel, new tyre run to grab some headlines.
