Sounds as if my Bro In Law (of sorts) has been rear ended in a bang...

<no>

3rd accident in as many years, and only 1 has been his fault...GRRR!

He doesn't drive one of those Citroens with the enormous arse on the back does he? Might make a collision less avoidable.....

Was he taken out on a spinal board ?,if so then taking the roof off is normally the procedure,(I guess <think> ).
Any excuse for the Fire Brigade to get some practice in too ;-)
Good to hear he's OK <thumbs>

Quite often they'll take the roof off if the door is damaged because it's easier to get access if the person inside is injured.

Reminds me of this story about a bloke who gave an injured woman a lift to hospital. On arrival, they suspected a back injury, and the poor bugger had to watch as the took off the roof and cut the seat out in order to remove her safely! Explain that one to the insurers!!

Well, no offence intended at all, but at least it wasn't a brilliant car to start with :D What matters most is that he's ok. And the insurance matter :)
