Ferrari 8/11 Mc Laren 2/1 Renault 6/1 Honda 10/1 B M W 25/1 Toyota 33/1 Williams 40/1 Red Bull Racing 40/1 Toro Rosso 200/1 Super Agurri 250/1 Spyker 250/1 These odds are interesting and very debatable. Bascially they expect Ferrari to dominate the championship which I don't think will happen, putting a high bet on mclaren or a less risky bet on renault could be worth your while I think. For your place/each way bet I would be tempted to have a look at BMW or Toyota or even Williams who all have a chance of maybe challenging for the top 3 places if all goes very well. Its a case of choosing which one you take the risk on and at the moment I would pick BMW. I may consider betting for the first time on F1 this year. What bets would you all consider? |

Honda is a good bet there if they can continue to build on their end to last season. I would put McLaren as favourites at the minute to be honest |

I'd say Renault is worth a punt at 6 to 1. |

Toyota at 33/1 is also pretty diescent odds, everyone seems to have already written off redbull its only a few weeks of testing done and think they could still be regular podium challengers....i hope

Mclaren 2/1. Only 3 teams could win the championship so what would be the point on betting on, say, Toyota, who have never won a race? I'd prefer not to bet, and to enjoy the action unfold

Because there car looks promising and it is quite reliable, its not out of the question toyota could atleast challenge. They have to at some point. |

Do they? It's not something that appears to bother them. It would be like betting on Newcastle to win the Premiership. It's not going to happen! The most attractive bet would be BMW I think, but although they look to have improved, a title ois surely out of the question. |

So? BMW are in their second year. Heidfeld although underrated does not look a champion. Kubica is fast but highly erratic. I wouldn't waste a bet on them. |

I think there is a danger of over-hyping Kubica like we did with Rosberg(and looked what happened) We must remember that during the period that Kubica was racing last season Nick get did more points than him and robert's only points finish was his podium in italy, you could include that points finish in Hungary but he didn't actually technically get the points due to an infringement with the tyres. He seems very fast and has alot of potential but like safc says he is erratic, I for one will not make a full judgement until seeing his first season but I do hope he turns out to be a very good driver as it would be for F1 and I wish him the best of luck, he seems like a nice chap. Its too early for BMW to win a title, renault had already existed three years before they won their 05 title and were well prepared, everything had been put into place over the previous 3 years and was building up to that year, I feel a similar thing is going on at BMW, I can see them challenging for titles and possibly winning them by 2009. They are dojg a great job, they just need to keep making progress. With regards to betting an each way bet may do you good, maybe they have an outside chance of third place. |

Well, Kubica has potential. To score a podium in your 3rd race is impressive. Hungary was a mess really because he spun twice, but I doubt he had ever gone flat out in those conditions so that's understandable. His presence caused Heidfeld to up his game...I think that shows what a talent he could be. |
