What are the police doing to stamp this out!? and come to that, why aren't the insurers doing enough to stop it happening. Why should I pay them nearly £1000 a year if they allow this sort of thing to happen!?

(when I say nearly - it's around 800, or was last year, certainly around that when you add tax)

The stoopid thing is, that the insurer part owned by the NUS actually costs more than anyone else!

I think I may try RAC for car insurance. I'm a member of their breakdown service and they really are top banana on that.

<yikes> I know there's an age difference ,so I won't tell you what I'm paying for my car <blink>
There was a programme on a while back about these scams,targetting busses.
On the onboard cctv,you could see the car pull out in front of the bus and weave about trying to contact the front of the bus <no>
