The modded car debate continues afresh! Personally I'm not into mods, I'm happy to trust the manufacturers' judgement when it comes to the matters of engineering a car and I'd rather find a pleasingly styled car in standard form rather than something I feel is inherently flawed to the extent that I'd wish to alter it.

However, anyone who loves cars is alright by me and it's a very valid form of automotive culture. I don't really like the image which goes along with it but modders generally love their cars and lavish such attention on their vehicles that I have to respect that. All power to them! Danica dreamer, I think it's brilliant that you have invested so much time and effort into your Peugeot! I sincerely hope it gives you as much pleasure as my Type-R gives me.

I've never liked these modified cars because I think it is unnecessary and it doesn't improve the car's looks. But if thats what you like, go for it <thumbs>

Well, it's all down to taste. A mild body kit that is in keeping with the cars looks, like a manufacturer endorsed sports kit is ok. I'm not in to these out landish body kits with giant bumpers and over the top wheel arches etc. Some people like them but they are not for me. I prefer the subtle approch to performance car styling. As for preformance mods, once again, if the prefomance gain justifise the cost, it's ok, but if you mod an inherently slow car and it cost you £15000 to make it fast, you might as well have spent the 15K on a car that was already fast. If some one want to go down the expensive route to high performance, be my guest, but it make bad ecconomic sense to me.

I'm not normally a fan of modded cars, mainly due to the poorly done ones that drive round Aber late at night honking and the chavvy connotations that they have nowadays.

However, when they are properly done they can look very good, which is the case here. Well done DD!

It's just something I don't really like. But yes, it is far worse when a Corsa or something has a foot-high rear spoiler attached!
