F1 if they could sort the problems just because of all the history.....all those greats from the past would be champions of a non existant sport, would be a shame.....

Probably F1 for Ferrari (and lack of Ron Dennis).

Hobbes has a point. I would watch F1 if it wasn't so boring. As for GPM, It got a bit boring at the front, but Stucky's driving was sight to behold

F1 without doubt, there is nothing else like it.

And insideline, if you get yourself into it enough, F1 is actually GREAT STUFF!

I would have like to see the gpma.
Not sure how they would have competed against F1 in the marketing.
Also what drivers would they be able to take with them seeing most of their contracts finish at the end of 2007

I got into F1 in around 1968 and got out of it again, when A the prices rocketed and B when the action became a procession. try Alms, or LMES or GT racing. Neveer a dull moment

Well i'm a believer that you need many 'dull moments' to make a great moment, like a key overtaking manouebre etc., really mean something and generate some excitement. I mean, what really is the excitement in races where anybody can win, overtaking happens routinely most laps etc. You need a loosely fixed order to generate real excitement when somebody shakes it up.

F1 has had a pretty good start this year, long may it continue. <clap>

i agree it could be a vintage year for F1

all we need now is for the others teams to improve and start challenging renault rather than each other.

This season has the potential to be one of the best ever, but it won't be because of some of the rules. Ie. engine ruling, aero ruling etc. I wouldn't care if F1 cars all had the same basic design that allowed cars to overtake each other at all tracks. I'm sure a lot of othger F1 fans would, but I wouldn't.

The fact that something is going on all the time?

What I find annoying is when races that have incident are describved as being exciting. For example the Canadian GP last year. It was processional. All that happened was Button crashed out, Alonso started moaning to Renauly about Fisichella then crashed out, Montoya doesn;t understand the difference between red and green...

After the second or third lap I don't recall any overtaking.

for overtaking, cpg, you missed a classic at Sebring. The 12 Hours had more passes in the first 20 minutes than you get in a whole GP and possibly half a season of F1

I know there is more to motor racing than overtaking, but there is nothing even slightly interesting about watching cars following each other round a track.

Can't be faulted on that one cpg. If you want to watch a procession, go to a carnival
