They won't last long - I can see everyone ganging up on them after the next race. The V10 rule was so small, independent teams didn't go bankrupt. These guys ain't small, so they shouldn't be allowed to run them (or else they need to run the Minardi cars from 2005 - not last year's Red Bull's car). |

If the other teams aren't happy, why don't they just use rev-limited V10s? If the FIA made the rule, theyt can't really change it midway through a season. Wouldn't the whole car have te be redesigned because V8s are smaller? I heard Ted Kravitz saying something about how the cars have been designed differently as a result of V8 engines. You can't force a team to change everything after the season had started. The FIA should have done something when they knew Red Bull were taking over Minardi. |

I thought the FIA were able to change their V10 restrictions at any time? I'm sure Mosley said he's handicap them more 'at a moment's notice' if they felt it was unfair. It is hard to judge how much to limit them by though. Their chassis is clearly better than last year's Minardi, so how much improvement is chassis or drivers, and how much is engine? Their engine is undoubtedly faster...but by how much? Limiting them further, so that they are behind Midland is probably a bit unfair. |

FIA can only change the rules on the grounds of safety. Otherwise it would take unanimous agreement by the teams. Red Bull isn't going to vote against Toro Rosso |

The V10 usage rule has an opening for FIA to revisit the engine restrictions based upon race data and make changes without a vote. Red Bull didn't have an issue with it when they voted for it, because they didn't own the team. Now they have to live with it <laugh> |
