I hate 2 tire manufacturers. Either drop to 1 or allow 5 or 6 to join. She shouldn't have a race where half the field has a major advantage or disadvantage because of tires. |

Why should they have changed their mind? And I thought the rule was that there was to be only one anyway? |

Ron Dennis is talking it up. Michelin, have said their position hasn't changed. It's only the FIA that wants one tyre manufacturer. The FIA, could be in trouble with the European Union if they try and push this through. It may infringe EU freedom of trade acts. |

If F1 were to go to one tyre supplier. I'd prefer it go to someone other than Bridgestone or Michelin. That way all teams are in the same boat and none have an advantage of years of experience with that manufacturer |

don't agree Marcus. The more the better, It makes for competition. It would be the same as having a single chassis or engine or gearbox. Not good for competition |

In my opinion which is not worth a great deal...but there would be nothing worse than one brand of tyre being 2 seconds a lap quicker than another...then we have the situation is it the car or the driver if all on same rubber it eliminates this situation and we get close racing. |

doesn't happen. If one tyre company finds a tenth, the other quickly find it, so it makes no difference. In the '81 season there was 4 tyre companies, and it was one of the best seasons eaver. In 82, again with 4 tyre companiew, no one won more than 2 races that season |

Was just thinking of last season all the Bridgestone runners had dreadfull handling and if any of the other top teams had been on them would have ruined the season....but first race out last weekend both manufacturers seemed to have equal tyres so maybe you guys are correct. |

This is why the Tyre companies spend so much on R&D |
